I am inspired by many many things, i have always had a
great love/fetish for the dark and more bizare aspects of Art, Music, Sex, Cinema
and life in general..For me Hentai is a place where i let all my dark fantasies
play out and explore new audio worlds, it´s a " Playground of Death
and Perversion" for me where i let all my inner hatred, angst, love, and
fetish come to life, like a psychotic " Jack in the Box " filled with
brand new toys for the kids :-).The term Audio Hellscapes, is a word i find
very fitting for my sound universe, because i always want to try to find new
ways to bring my listeners into new audio nightmares and torture their senses
with sound collages they never imagined could be made.....

I mostly work on instinct and sudden ideas, I really never
know where i want to go when i start a recording session, that´s also
exactly what i love about making music, that i never know where my ideas, samples,
noises and rythmic pulses will take me. I also think my music becomes more original,
pure and much more hardcore / dark because i work on sudden ideas / instinct
which makes the track almost create itself along the way, it gets a life of
it´s own, even I never really know where " hentai " goes once
he´s unchained and caughts the smell of blood in the air, I just let "
Him " rampage and hunt for sounds inside the audio equipment, then sees
what he has killed and dragged back for me in the end, which is the track i
put on the disc :-) Sometimes i have a vague idea on what i want, but mostly
i just act on instinct and impulses,,,but i am a perfectionist and knows exactly
what i want the track to sound like once i have found all my samples, noises,
loops etc....
Things has been different on the new Hentai Toy Factory CD though, on this i
wanted to create a soundtrack for what i thought the inside of a haunted and
hellish Toy Factory would sound like from a childs point of view. I wanted to
make a CD of childish / naive death-electronic lullabys. I had some dreams about
being caught inside a maze of corridors while big toys and ragdolls where hunting
me, a great nightmare that scared the shit out of me in the dream,,,i really
really love my nightmares, it´s the best inspiration source of all, i
always feel so happy and creative when i have had a truely sick and disturbing
dream..no movies, music or art can beat the truely deranged images and sounds
you see / hear in your worst nightmares, on this release i imagined that i took
my minidisc recorder with me inside the toy factory nightmare and recorded the
sounds i heard from inside the dream and when i woke up i had a disc full of
hellish unnatural tracks recorded from the nightmare " sort of like when
Nancy brings back freddy´s old Hat from her dream in Nightmare on Elm
Street 1 " :-) I just loved this idea, and wanted to play with it for my
Toy Factory CD.....

both yes and no, i actually dont listen to that much music
these days, but when i listen to music it´s mostly new avantgarde melancholic
/ downtempo jazz music, minimalistic neo-classical music and 60 / 70´s
Fusion..i am a very big collector of the german art-jazz label ECM, i have a
hugh collection of their CD´s and my favorite jazz / improvisation artists
enclude : Tomasz Stanko, Arild Andersen, Jan Garbarek, David Darling, Marylin
Crispell, Miroslav Vitous, John Taylor, Peter Erskine, Paul Motion, Jack Dejohnette,
John Mclaughlin, Steve Kuhn, Harold Budd, John Surman, Keith Jarret, Evan Parker,
Minami Hiroshi, Terje Rypdal, Charles Lloyd, and of course Miles Davis...
i actually dont care much for noise, industriel and dark ambient in general,
i mostly find these genres very boring and it is rare that i find some artists
that i think have something unique to offer, i have never really been influenced
by these genres, but i do have some artists that has meant alot to me over the
years, some of them are : Lab Report, Jeff Greinke, Mick Harris ( Scorn, The
Weakner, Quoit ), Ambush, Murder Corporation, Brighter Death Now, MZ.412, Merzbow,
Authecre, Steve Roach, Richard Bone, Robert Rich, Vangelis, Brian Eno, Ryuichi
Sakamoto, Lustmord, John Carpenter, Fabio Frizzi ( The Beyond, Zombi 2, City
of the living Dead ), Tobe Hooper (Texas Chainsaw Massacre ) Angelo Badalamenti
( David Lynch ) Krzystof Komeda ( Roman Polanski ) etc...
I dont really give a fuck about the electronic / noise scene in general, i am
not interested in being an active part of the scene, besides doing my own things,,,,people
can fuck around with whatever they want, i dont really care,,, but i am always
100% loyal and professional with the artists / labels i work and create with...i
just want to make my music, and in the future use Vital to release cool stuff
with hentai and fellow artists that i enjoy myself...thats my part in this scene...no
more, no less....

it seems your feelings towards my music has change after
i scorned your label and its releases,,,you seem to be in a mean spirit, and
you are totally wrong about my new material, it´s some of my best work
yet,i have recieved amazing feedback on the toy factory from everybody else,,,,and
i really dont think other releases than the negatron are in your taste....you
have changed your opinion about my work entirely,,and i think you are behaving
in a very childish manner to let personal issues cloud your judgment....normally
i accept critisism with a smile, but with you i sense a personal thing......hentai
/ vital will have no more to do with you and your label / magazin.....i dont
want to spend my sparetime on doing this interview, when you seem to have lost
the spark for my new work....sorry, but i have more important things to do...

tried 2 patch things up but Mr Nybo was distraught, hysterically upset &
suicidal at my polite snub of his recent chunk of shit & no reply was ever
received! Balless geeks in Noise/PE/Indutrial really need emotional minders
but what 2 expect from Noise? Th most ostentacious genre of all attracting mostly
deadbeats who want a short cut to extremity without having 2 posess th dexterity
& skill of mastering a REAL instrument
